Role Title: Junior Bridal Assistant (Weekend) — Growth Opportunity to Bridal Stylist

Location: Josephine Scott Showroom, Luton Hoo Estate

Hours: Primarily Saturdays + occasional Sundays / events (flexible, part-time)

Reporting to: Lead Bridal Stylist / Founder

Josephine Scott is a luxury British bridal design house known for refined craftsmanship, modern femininity, and an elevated, personal bridal experience. Our showroom offers brides a calm, intimate, and highly considered journey in a beautiful setting.

We are looking for a warm, detail-oriented Junior Bridal Assistant to support our weekend appointments and help deliver an exceptional experience to every bride.

This role also offers long-term growth into a Bridal Stylist position for the right candidate.

Role Purpose

To support the smooth running of bridal appointments by assisting the stylist, caring for gowns, and maintaining a beautiful, calm showroom environment ensuring every bride feels welcomed, comfortable, and special.

Key Responsibilities

During Appointments

  • Welcome brides warmly and professionally

  • Offer refreshments

  • Prepare fitting areas and gowns

  • Assist the stylist dressing brides carefully and respectfully

  • Handle gowns, veils, and accessories with care

  • Maintain a calm, elegant environment throughout appointments

Showroom Presentation

  • Steam and prepare gowns when needed

  • Reset showroom between appointments

  • Keep fitting areas tidy and organised

  • Ensure gowns are rehung and stored correctly

  • Maintain overall showroom standards and presentation

General Support

  • Assist during busy trunk shows or events

  • Support with sample organisation and gown care

  • Occasionally assist with exhibition or event preparation

Essential Qualities

  • Warm, kind, and calm personality

  • Genuine passion for bridal, fashion, or craftsmanship

  • Detail-oriented and naturally tidy

  • Gentle and confident working with brides

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional

  • Willing to learn and take direction

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Interest in becoming a Bridal Stylist long-term

  • Fashion / textile / costume / bridal background

  • Experience in customer-facing or luxury environment

Growth Opportunity

Role Details
