Bridal collections tend to comprise of set key features: ivory fabrics, flattering silhouettes and romance in abundance.

But each year, there are some clear trends in bridal wear, and this year is no different. Explore these top wedding dress trends for 2023, we’re dare you not to fall in love with one of these dreamy wedding gowns.

Puff sleeves

A trend that’s full of ‘80s inspiration (and when we say full we really mean it!), maximum-volume puff sleeves, airy bishop sleeves, plumped-up balloon cuffs and fabulous full shoulders have been gracing the 2023 bridal catwalks.

Embrace the nostalgic puff sleeves with dresses like ‘Elora’, ‘Claudia’ and ‘Rosalind’. Whether you’re drawn to sleek satin styles (like ‘Claudia’) or heavily embellished gowns (like ‘Rosalind, below’), there’s an outfit for you that fits into this full sleeve trend!

Fabulous florals

From fabulous fishtails to regal ball gowns, floral wedding dresses are having a moment this season. While floral lace has been used in bridal wear for centuries, designers are moving towards hand-painted and printed blooms that add a touch of colour to bridal design.

Embody walking through a country garden when you step down the aisle in ’Constance’ or ‘Elora’. The printed organza will add a touch of colour and a ton of romance to your bridal look. Large floral motifs are another way this trend is blooming into 2023, whether as lace appliqués or embroidery. ‘Seraphina’ features layers of tulle adorned with large white floral appliqué, appealing to brides that want to embrace the floral trend in a more traditional ivory gown.

High necklines

Follow in the footsteps of Pippa Middleton, Paris Hilton and Ellie Goulding and feel like royalty when you say “I do” in an elegant and ornate dress with a high neckline.

Boasting a sophisticated high neckline with a scalloped lace edge, ‘Kitty’ is oh-so romantic and sure to take everyones breath away when you walk down the aisle. Our ‘Daphne’ gown brings just as much wow-factor, with sheer cut away detail accentuating the lace appliqué collar in a modern style.

Luxury lace

Always a key element in bridal wear, lace is a perennial trend. Brides gravitate towards lace as it gives a touch of tradition to their look, no matter the silhouette, and it’s so iconically bridal.

For 2023, layering lace gives bridal gowns a contemporary twist. Both ‘Allegra’ and ‘Mia’ feature delicate lace with a sheer embroidered lace layered over the top. The deep v-neckline on ‘Mia’ gives a nod to the plunging neckline trend, which continues to be popular with brides, while ‘Allegra’ features puff shoulders and a keyhole back.

Asymmetric angles

Asymmetric details come in all shapes and sizes, from hemlines to shoulder straps, and they have been seen all over the 2023 catwalks. Keep your look classic with layers of airy tulle and a traditional A-line dress, but nod to the 2023 trend with a one-shoulder gown like ‘Elsbeth’. ‘Elsbeth’ features a voluminous shoulder ruffle on one side.

Or, go all out in a trendy, statement number like ‘Isla’. Ruffles and pleats create an asymmetric, strapless neckline while the high-to-low skirt cascades into a full train.
